Just put in my pre-order for the boxed edition of an indie adventure game called Resonance. While still retaining an old-school pixel art feel it's probably one of the best looking and best playing modern day adventure games I've seen in a long time. For such a solid looking adventure game it seems to have flown relatively under the radar of the gaming press. Hoping it sells well and gets some good attention though. I'm very much looking forward to getting my hands on it when it releases tomorrow.

Played a great new board game called Mage Knight with Tom, John K and Julie last night. Has some really great play mechanics to it. I recomend it if you like role playing adventure games. It is a lenghty game. Took us 4 hours to finish the tutorial quest. I want to play it again soon!

Another couple of old school adventure games now free at GOG! These were an experiment for Origin, adventures set in non-traditional venues. Like, Jules Verne 1800's outer space and Errol Flynn type jungles! :) http://j.mp/UltimaFreeGOG

I gotta say, I don't play games much although on occasion I find certain games most addicting. The two best games in the app store (my kind of games, fun platform games, with cute graphics ) are Swordigo and Wind-Up Knight...besides those two, any of the story adventure games too!
