well I thought I was leaving Newfoundland tonight but not so the wonderfull geniouses at Air canada decided to send a smaller plane that 25 less seats & there was a hugh trade show here & the reps are pissed 21 of us got the boot. on the upside I get to be newfenized for 1 more night. first class tomorrow all the way home holiday inn for the night free booze meals for staying the night. so lets hope the fog doesnt mess things up tomorrow or I may become a resident by!!! lol

Riva's trip started poorly-airports and airlines can take you as a hostage, and are aggressively unhelpful once they've deserted you. 12 hours later she was stranded in Ottawa and they'd already lost her luggage (1 plane ride and it's gone!) . Riva persevered and should be comfortably seated in her Air Canada business class pod heading over the Atlantic this afternoon. G-d willing!
Avoid US Air, I'm just saying.

Air Canada is a mess. A $4 billion pension liability and the company loses $250 million/year. And surprise, surprise - AC executives have seen their compensation soar over the past few years. Made it safely to Tel Aviv after having my flight canceled and spending more than 24 hours in transit. Fuck yeah Air Canada... Fuck Yeah :)

Just finished cooking 30 lbs of LOBSTERS flown in fresh this morning on Air Canada from Newfie Land!! Now to chow down!! Mmmmmm lobster!!
