I'm staying up late eating brownies and watching Alien. Prometheus got me interested in seeing the original again. I'd never seen it in the theater, only on VHS many years ago. It's MUCH cooler on a digitally remastered DVD. Probably even better in Blue Ray.

Very impressed with Jones, the gingy kitty in Alien. Prometheus not bad, but no clever kitties on board. Good movie but less suspense....

The moral to the story is if you touch the black goop you will then be metabolized by a very slowly gestating parasitic alien. Prometheus: win.

Dam just watch the prequel of alien prometheus. It was wicked. Hope theres a part two of this movie.

I wish people would stop comparing Prometheus to the original Alien. Prometheus is its own movie and it's awesome.

Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" is nothing short of perfect. Beautiful visuals, really great acting from Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender. As a huge fan of the Alien series I was anticipating this film since I heard it was in development and I can say the wait wasn't for nothing. For me it's Alien, Prometheus, Aliens, Alien 3 then Alien Ressurection from best to worst. While I won't spoil the movie, I will say that when you go into the movie don't expect a prequel to the Alien movie but more of a film taking place in the same universe, it is it's own movie and can be enjoyed by people who have not seen any of the other Alien films.
