From a Chicago Tribune editorial: "Earlier this year, the Parents Television Council reported that the word "vagina" had been uttered on television eight times more often last season than in 2001-02, when the group first started counting."

How is this measured? Is there a group of people who watch every station, every minute of every day, paying full attention, armed with clipboad and pen? Who are they? Do they have lives? Is their highest goal in life to count the utterance of perfectly legitimate, anatomical words ("ah-HAH! Vagina! Yesssss!....ah-HAH! Penis! Point, me! ") in hope of eradicating them from TV?

Yeah, that's it. Slice up one of your "status-symbol" pets for your own stupidity!

From the Chicago Tribune:

Pet piranha bites off tip of toddler's finger

An 18-month-old girl is recovering at a hospital after she apparently stuck her hand into the family fish tank and a piranha bit off the tip of her finger at their Maine Township home.
