It is baseball season and having lived in the Denver area for 14 yrs. I became a Rockies fan. Coors Field is a beautiful baseball stadium and the Denver fans love their teams. I remember the days of the Blake St. Bombers when the line would form for those precious Rockpile tickets hours before the game. But even then the team never truly fulfilled the expectations, never have won their division and except for two improbable runs at the playoffs, the legacy has been one of disappointing results for the fans.
Why is it that the Rockies organization seems to consistently field one of the worst teams in baseball?

Families are so interesting.....my nephew and I go to Union Station in Denver to meet my Danish cousin and his Cuban wife. Conversation begins anew where he and I left 6 years ago. My nephew, Joey, last saw him 16 years ago in Copenhagen. Am fortunate to have close ties! If any of you have family elsewhere in the world, attempt to reconnect!

Happy Birthday to my youngest son jeremy. Officially 21 at 12:01 denver time. It seems like yesterday i was getting you out of a carseat and carrying you everwhere. I'm so very proud of the man you have become, and are yet to be. It will be a blast on saturday night.
