Fantastic. I saw Weerstra perform this Fandango at St. Olave Hart Street church on June 14, and was delighted to find it on youtube. Listen to the haunting 2-measure figure repeated over and over by the left hand. Weerstra's left hand was on auto-pilot while his right hand was doing all the other wonderful things. It was incredible to watch and hear. I'd never heard of the composer, Antonio Soler. He lived in the 18th century, despite the fact that I think this piece sounds so much more modern.

Hey Girlfriends! This Friday is Magic Mike Night! Please let me know if you would like to come party with us so I can let my cousin Tina know how many people will be at Buffalo Wild Wings. We are meeting at the restaurant at 6:30, then the movie is at 9. She says you can buy your ticket early at Fandango. Come and have a blast. Who knows where we might end up after the movie lol! Is finally going up to Jersey City to see the wood framed windshield that Peter is crafting on our sailboat Fandango. It's been a 3 month project of his. Sunday we're going to our friends Laurie and Jerry's wedding at a beach resort. Looks like they'll have good weather!
