fathers day gift

THEFT UPDATE: The lawnbed has not returned. Since it was stolen early last Sunday morning, I am willing to bet that someone forgot to buy a father's day gift and picked up our lawnbed out of sheer panic. This is what I choose to believe. I have faith that the lawnbed is bringing happiness to some father whose child is generally a disappointment to him. So, unknown dad, I hope you enjoy the lawnbed. You deserve something nice after putting up with your crumby kid. R.I.P. #lawnbed2012.

My son, Grant Pearson, and I going to the Giants/A's game today courtesy of my awesome sister, Ann Marie, as a late Father's day gift. Then to a suite at the Westin courtesy of my wonderful mother-in-law. Blessings abound and I am grateful for the family and the time with them that I have.

Just checked Tom into hospital in West Bloomfield for IV antibiotics after a spider bite and extreme pain and swelling. He will miss his NASCAR ride today and is really bummed about having to cancel his Fathers day gift.

Heading to Costa Mesa today to see my favorite play, Les Miserables, a Father's Day gift from my girls. So looking forward to this. Never been to the Segerstom Center before. Hear it is a marvelous venue. But first, work to do.
