Winding down a great Holiday week at KIFF! Today was Fall Festival Day and tomorrow is everyone's birthday! Still openings at our classic Country/Western week next week... with the REAL story of the Hatfield and McCoy feud, the family feud game, KIFF rodeo, bowling trip, line dancin, and the Triple R Ranch Day.... A GREAT WEEK! We have Soccer camp in the afternoon (my 25th and last year) and Tennis Camp in the morning.... Go to either sports camp and come to KIFF for the other half.... Now THAT is a great way to spend a week!

Back today from a wonderful weeks vacation with my greatl family. We had a blast. Biltmore, Dollywood, Splash Country, Comedy Barn, Hatfield & McCoy Dinner theatre, Mini golf, the Titanic Museum, Cades Cove, Smokey Mountain National Park. 7 days of great fun an very few disagreements. My Family made it a wonderful time in NC & TN. I Love all of them :)

Neither of the families won the Hatfield and McCoy feud. 8 members of the Hatfield family was arrested for the murder of Alifair McCoy. 7 men received life in prison and Ellison 'Cootontop' Mounts was executed by hanging. Fighting between the families eased following the hanging, but trials continued for years until 1901. On June 14, 2003, the McCoy's and Hatfield's relatives made an official truce to symbolize that Americans can bind together and forgive following Sept. 11, 2001.
