I went & watched "Way Out West" & "International House" at the Ohio Theatre last night. It's amazing that even when you know what's coming, it's still very funny when there is REAL comedic talent on the screen. I can't think of a single so-called comedy released in the last 20 years that I thought was anywhere near as good as what I watched last night. Thank you CAPA for bringing REAL movies with real stories around every year. It sure beats the drivel that HBO, Showtime, & Starz repeat a hundred times every month, just because they were released in the last 10 years.

I am watching the HBO series "The Weight of the Nation" which was referred to me by a friend. You can find them online ... a four video series. If you wonder why I have such a passion for healthy eating ... it is because I come from a family where everyone is/was older than me. I know what is coming for many of us at age 55, 65 and up ... Let's beat the odds and stay healthy and let's have good life quality. Much of it IS up to us! Our choices matter! Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer's and cancer don't HAVE to be part of our futures!
