St. Cloud State becomes tobacco-free Aug. 1. Minnesota's second-largest university joins a wave of campuses nationwide that are or will be tobacco-free, including Oklahoma State, University of Oklahoma, University of Michigan, University of Kentucky and the University of Florida. Up at 1:30am Tues to be to work in Mankato at 5:30 only to be rained out till 11am. Supposed to work 4 days so rented a room for 3 nights, only worked 3 days so tried to get refund for the 3rd night but hotel manager wouldnt do it as it was too late in the day (got off work at 9pm) and said he wouldnt be able to rent it out to someone else that late at night. Of course it was Friday night so rates are higher. The company wont pay for it even though i was to work 4 days so Im out $70. Attitude??

I enjoyed a nice Father's Day, with Marianna, Julia, & Jenny and with Dad & Mom in Mankato and also with sisters Ann & Barb and their husbands. Rain kept us off the golf course.
On Saturday up in Duluth, I got to see my oldest, Emily run her 1st half marathon with her roomate Sarah. She did a great job! Also, cheering them on with me, were my Aunt Kathy & Uncle Paul Kulas and their daughter Sue & her husband Bill. Afterwards, we grilled at Bill & Sue's and relaxed overlooking Lake Superior.
Marla, was cheering on Jack at his LaCrosse tourney for most of the weekend.

the girls took 2nd in the tournament in Mankato with rain delays didn't get home last night until 9:30 makes for a long day when your up and on the road at 6:00, Mikayla leaves for Florida today for 7 days for volleyball nationals she's super excited and trying to get everything packed i'm going to miss her but hope they do well
