OK . . . . Here We Go Again! The 5th Annual Memorial Day Concert at the sandbar was wildly successful, so everyone is asking, "When is the next one?" Well, the 4th of July is on a Wednesday - Our Wedding Anniversary - and Terri says, "Pick another day!" So, here it is . . . . SUNDAY JULY 8th. The Cross Creek Blues Band will play on the Band Barge, at the Sandbar in "P" Channel - same place - From about 1:00 P.M. until we get done! It is kind of like our own Wet & Wild Festival with High-Energy Blues and Southern Rock. Throw in some 50s and 60s Real Old Rock, and . . . . Well, you get the idea!

I'm the newest member of the fearless Castle Rock Municipal Band. I'm in the city of Lone Tree which is the south part of Denver. Castle Rock is about 15 minutes south of me. The band is a nice mix of players. The Memorial day concert was a Sousa-ish thing. Wife says the band is "quaint". I think she's very kind.
