The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles would like to congratulate 18 year old defenseman Loic Leduc on being selected 103rd overall by the New York Islanders in the NHL Entry Draft taking place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania today.

With their first pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and 49th overall the Red Wings have selected Martin Frk. Frk is a talented goal scoring winger who I've seen play a number of times. I really like his game. Good pick up for Detroit. Full report later
