prequel

┌( ಥ_ಥ)┘

I have an idea for a prequel to Alien. Basically a ship crash lands in France in 1890 and only Vincent Van Gogh can save earth from the aliens.

Stick around after the credits. Hitlers dad finds the ship while he vacations. WHAAAAAT? SEQUEEELLL!

At this point I would make a movie poster of a impressionist version of the original alien poster or I would add a ship crash landing to earth in the background of Starry Night. But I don't have time.

I don't know what kind of ridiculously high expectations people had for Prometheus, but I found it to be aesthetically breathtaking and horrifically bad-ass. I've never seen such skillful rendering of massive objects, like when the alien ship crashes down at the end. And all the hologram / high technology sequences were phenomenal. It didn't deliver anything conclusive on the origins of humanity, but it seemed to leave enough of a gap for perhaps another prequel before we catch up with the crew of the Nostromo.

After recently seeing, Prometheus I have to say that my expectations were surpassed. Regardless of how the rest of my movie going experience turns out this year I will be satisfied due to, Prometheus. If you have any interest in science fiction you owe it to yourself to see this one. Let me also say that even though, Prometheus isn't technically a prequel to,Alien, there are plenty of nods to the fans that make it a spiritual prequel.

the new duel masters series (which is llisted as a re imagining but i call it a prequel series) is far superior to the original in my opinion! (though its really just an excuse for them to release the card game in the US again)
