Rodney King's terrible and inhuman beating by the LAPD simply exposed the continued disregard for human life by all of L.A. County's law enforcement agencies. Even with the indisputable evidence for all the world to see, the Simi Valley white jury still defiantly chose to acquit the obviously guilty officers. The subsequent "riots" were simply a last straw response to the "spit-in-your-eye, deliberate provocation in the face of our black brothers and sisters by this outlaw jury. And to this day, little has changed. Police continue to shoot and beat civilians without any accountability whatsoever. http://lat.ms/KOtTKF
