It is hard to believe that he got away with it so long. He got away with it just like a local coach did as well because "No one would believe us." This was an exact quote from a girl on the team, they knew the coach was abusing for at least two years, never said anything out of fear, sad.

I hope this case educates parents who thought spending time in the coach's basement normal, the school officials that were told of "inappropriate incidents in the showers" but did not take action, the people (janitor, coach assistant) that did not take action after reporting it and when they saw nothing happened, for 15 years !!!!! His wife who thought spending time with the boys alone in the basement, "normal" heard the screams and thought nothing of it, and so many other people WHO FAILED THESE CHILDREN FOR 15 YEARS!!!!! http://www.npr.org/2012/06/23/155621728/sandusky-verdict-answers-who-would-believe-a-kid
