the sun

Thank you for all the experience of this past year;
for times of success which will always be happy memories,
for times of failure which reminded me of my own weakness and of my need for you,
for times of joy when the sun was shining,
for times of sadness which drove me to you.

Forgive me
for the hours I wasted,
for the chances I failed to take,
for the opportunities I missed.
Help me in the days ahead to make this coming Half of the year,
and through it to bring good credit to myself,
happiness and pride to my loved ones,
and joy to you Reading. Amen.

If the sun doesn't rise, we'll replace it with an H-bomb explosion, a painted jail cell of light in the sky, like three-mile-island nightmares on TVs that sing us to sleep they burn on and on like an oil field or a memory of what it felt like. To burn on and on and not just fade away all those nights in the basement, the kids are still screaming. War all of the time. In the shadow of the New York skyline. We grew up too fast, falling apart, like the ashes of American flags. And we’re blowing in the wind. We don’t know where to land. So we kiss like little kids.

I found this on Caters News Agency facebook page. It appears that Caters News Agency sold the story about Sammy to the Sun newspaper. I thought it was strange as the article reads as though I had undertaken an interview with them.

The name of the reporter attached to the article is linked with Caters.

I have more delving to do but I have discovered that the buying and selling of stories is big business. Something that people need to be aware of. I will be posting more info next week. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/features/4317731/Piano-playing-squirrel-is-nuts-about-music.html
