Last night my husband, Doug Monds, afforded me the evening of a lifetime; and for that I thank him. I had the pleasure of dinning with some the MONTFORD POINT MARINES, America's First Black U.S. Marines. Tomorrow they will fly out to Washington, D.C to be reunited with 400 of the remaining Montford Point Marines to receive their Congressional Gold Medal, 70 years later. It was an honor and a pleasure to be in a room full of TRUE Officers and Gentlemen. HOORAH!

Reality bites back to the real world after a wonderful vacation with Dan. Went to Attitash in Bartlett NH for a week. Saw a bear while drinking my coffee on the deck of the condo. Went on a Moose safari, went up to the top of Mt. Washington and most importantly just enjoyed the fact I was with Danny. Now that the kids are all grown and doing their own things its good to get back to US...Love that man so much... Blessed for a wonderful husband and family and for having a great vacation.
