A funny thing about my dad, since he was around movie making in his daily job (back when most of the movies were made at the studio) when we went to a movie he'd always point out what was fake--miniature train, mountain backdrop a set in the basement, nothing like taking you out of your imagination. And it's made me look for those things when I'm watching movies and TV shows--what's real, what's computer generated, wrong location for where the story is located, etc.

How is it that a simple piece of code on FB can be so screwy. My friend count is 9 higher than it was yesterday, even though I have added no new friends. You would think, its a number. A quantifiable amount. A count of how many of a certain thing. That's what computer programs do.
