Second day in a row that we've had a fire around town. I am on Red Cross DAT call warning atm. One of the lessons that a lot of people out here and out west in general need to learn is that they need to have defensible space around their buildings when they border range land. People allow cheat grass to grow right up to their homes and when a fire starts with a brisk wind, you will be lucky to get out with your lives. http://www.idahostatesman.com/2012/06/18/2160313/four-homes-in-mountain-home-area.html

My baby girl is home safe. I can go to bed now. Maranda Robbins is either mom of the year or crazy for taking 7 kids (only 3 of which were her own) to Boise to go to the water park, stay the night in a hotel, only to find out the next morning that the park was closed due to weather! Nevertheless, Gracie had a blast!

Night School had a great evening visiting salons! A big Thanks to Fete Salon,The Electric Chair and Sub Rosa Salon for welcoming us. These salons are unique and each has its own personality. They were very inviting and I can't wait to visit more salons on July 9th.

Moving to Boise has brought along a lot of good changes in my life, but I find now I find I didn't realize how deep that change would reach...
Ladies and gentlemen, I am beginning to grow affectionate of country music. My lovely wife is to blame for this.
