Very proud of myself...figured out the mystery of my mother's tapes going all haywire... she is the big kahuna of channel surfing and has a converter box on the tv in her bedroom, and one on the tv in the spare room. When she flips through the channels on her tv, she screws up the channels in the spare room too, which in turn, changes the show she is recording....realized that closing the door to the spare room will remedy the problem.....#supergeek LOL

What's awesome: finally can play tunes from my phone on my car radio due to just-purchased old school tape deck converter (from Target). What's not awesome: said car is broken down in the parking lot at said Target. Electrical. Please pray to the muses with me that it's just a dead/corroded battery, otherwise...(insert sinister music)...car has 190k miles on it... :(

started working on a little 5500 watt generator this week and i ordered an new catalytic converter for the truck.. hopefuly i can get the generator running before this weekend.
