OK a guy i work with told me today that the school is forcing his kid to learn Lattice multiplication. This is the most stupid thing I have ever heard about in my life. It takes your standard multiplication and seems to over complicate it until nothing makes sense any more. Why aren't more parents out raged by stupidity like this???

I heard from Haley Gill. She's having such a good time, she doesn't miss us at all. LOL j/k. They're keeping the kids busy with cool math stuff. Today's activity focused on dodecahedrons. Tonight they went bowling (and unfortunately, she takes after her mother with that activity). The house is quiet without her...but a little cleaner. :-) We miss her.

Let's play the memorizing game. That's how I learn French when there's an irregular verb and stuff.. that was way back when.. what I don't get is a few particular tenses I don't understand.. For the simple fact I didn't learn it in English first. TRUE, no joke. Did you know I learned how to say, "It's half past ten minus two minits" in French before English and English is my native tongue? French = cool. Math = get it done, poke it, then run. No?
