Some good info on why housing is recovering, as evidenced at the local... read zip-code... level. It's too easy to get caught up in the national stats, but know this: those stats do not do justice to what is happening at the local level, especially here in Dallas. 2012 is looking a whole lot brighter.

According to NAR economist, Lawrence Yun, housing prices in general are increasing due to three factors currently:
1) housing inventories are at 50-year lows,
2) foreclosure inventories are finally trending downward, and
3) houses with seriously delinquent mortgages are trending downward.
