Watched the Germany/Greece Euro 2012 games in zee German enclave of Majorica... A very different experience than in the English one....How bad are the German drinking songs.... I jump I swim. I jump I swim...repeat 50 times but fun anyway and a lots of goals....

From Berlin: In the last 24 hours, two different groups of over 100,000 people have descended on the square right outside our hotel. The first (last night) was for the Germany - Greece match, and the second (this afternoon) was for Berlin's Pride parade. Guess which one was more fun, life-affirming, and photogenic?

Was in hysterics yesterday, we were watching the football (Germany/Greece match) My Mum, Alex and I. Mum had fallen asleep in the armchair, with.. er.. "laboured breathing" shall we call it. After a while Alex pipes up " Difficult to watch this", I looked at the TV thinking the picture had suddenly deteriorated, as he continued "..with Darth Vader sitting in the corner there!" lol
