Unlike people in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, China, Russia, New Zealand and other countries where labels are required, Americans don't know if the food they eat has been genetically altered.

This is a problem in the US as unlike the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, China, Russia, New Zealand and several others labeling of genetically engineered food is not required. Perhaps it is because they do not want us to know just how much of our food falls into this category. What do you think? http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_25684.cfm
