And The Winner Was......
LA Kings!! Game 5 was Devils fighting to stay competitve and game 6 was Kings claiming their victory....6 goals!!
Game 5 surprised me, I didn't think the Devils was going to stay alive but they pulled it off. So I knew game 6 was going to be charged. I really enjoyed the skills and sportsmanship displayed. Yeah, it's hockey and what's a playoff without some hitting, however, fighting was very limited and skating skills was premium.
Awesone NHL Finals!

45 years ago at the first LA Kings game at the Fabulous Forum I gave my great grandmother Nana a bouquet of flowers under the huge spotlights of the filled to capacity Forum. I was very little, but I remember someone saying , jack Kent Cooke is crazy if he thinks ice hockey will last in Los Angeles. My grand father was right, just took awhile.
❤
Well, I went to my first LA Kings game which was also my first ever hockey game in 1973. I was forever hooked on the beautiful game of hockey. I cried tonight when the Kings won the Stanley Cup. Marcel Dionne, Charlie Simmer, Davey Taylor, Rogie Vachon...this one is for you.

April 10th 1982 I attended my first LA Kings game and have since been a loyal fan. Those of you who know me well, know my son was named after their only Calder Trophy winner. 30 years, 2 months, and a day later, they finally hoisted the Stanley Cup. Congrats to my LA Kings!

Dear James Gandolfini at the L.A. Kings game: If I was a carpenter, and you were a douchebag, you would betray New Jersey and root for the Kings

THIS is the way our national anthem should be sung... proud and clear... no vocal tricks...
