Terrific day in Montreal today, my hometown, with Portuguese tapas lunch on Prince Arthur and wonderful curried scallops for dinner on Saint-Denis. Window shopping and a fringe festival play in between, The Last Man on Earth, put on Keystone Theatre which my daughter Dana is part of. Congrats to all the cast and company on a wonderful, innovative piece of theatre.

Well, as plans sometimes go......our jaunt to Montreal to the Science Centre had a few twists and turns added on, and so we didn't get back until 13 hours from when we set out. We all had a lot of fun together! It was certainly worth it! Such a gorgeous day, and I'm thinking that Montreal - even with the inevitable construction and the inevitable wrong turns - is becoming more inviting each time I go there. And as I've had a couple of late nights, I'm tempted to just chill a bit and head for sleep earlier, after tossing in a load of laundry.....*yawn*

It has been a long day for me. Left Montreal @ 3am and arrived in Chibougamau @ 10:05am. Went to the golf club and drove some balls to loosen up after a long drive. Spent some time at the fair with kids and went to the beach for picnic and swimming; forgot speedos so that has to wait. It is now almost midnight and I managed to squeeze some facebook time to relax.
