On Saturday am the Olympic Torch starts at St.Andrews Rd in Ashton down through to Lane Ends, along Tulketh Brow, pass the Uni up Corporation Street, then along Fishergate and Church Street finally along New Hall Lane upto the Crem. It would be nice if there was a good turnout. From Beth xxx

Yay, Olympic torch coming tomorrow, how excited am I!! Don't forget to come and support the demo if you are free, meeting at 12:15 on west park stray, opposite the coach and horses, got lots of free lesson leaflets to hand out :-))

Jack putting his face on the TV twice in one day on Saturday. Once on the BBC (for the Olympic Torch) and then once on Sky News (at 0.38 below for the Redheugh Football Tournament when they had to comment on Andy Carroll). He's at the back in red and blue!

Had a great time watching the olympic torch going past my street and seeing the flame handed over to runner 099, then onto west park to see the couldren lit. Good day had by many poeple.

Well the olympic torch ran past the door of my museum today. Id have been more impressed if it hadnt arrived in town on a bus. There should be one torch and they should run all the way from the start in a relay. Goddamn it put some effort in!
