Alien Origin (2012) clearly came into being when someone read something about the plot of Prometheus (2012) and decided to remake Predator (1987) by stealing plot elements from the former. However they only had $20, a stick of gum and a mobile phone to make it with.
Totally worthwhile if watching 30 seconds of grainy underwater whale footage is reason enough to waste two hours of your life. Also, there is a manatee.

Saw Prometheus 2012 at last. Came away with a desire to just see a movie about David 8 next time and skip the whole Aliens Prequel bit.
