Received the Queen's Jubilee Medal last night. I'm humbled to be part of a group of community members & individuals who were awarded this medal for things like cancer researchers, chairs of various fundraising organizations etc...Makes me look small in camparison.

The council put up x-mas lights in October 2011. They are still there and they are still on. They put up 2 British flags on the wall of every house in this street 4 weeks ago for the Queen's jubilee. They are still here waving in the wind. Just leave them for next time?! The flags in front of my window are driving me nuts.

Marvin and I have just returned from a trip in the UK. We were there during the Queen's Jubilee. We took in several Musicals and a Play, a lot of fun and very interesting. Also spent a week on a Canal long boat. Thanks for missing me.
