Last night the Wake County Commissioners voted 6-3 AGAINST a public hearing to determine public interest in the transit referendum. How can they decide what we want without hearing from us????

Let the Commissioners know NOW that we want options!!!

The recent announcement that HIV among Black women far exceeds the national average in Newark, Raleigh-Durham, Baltimore, New York and Washington, DC should have HIV Testing on everyone’s mind, especially in these cities. 40 years ago last month, I returned from Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. Anxiously waiting at Raleigh-Durham Airport were two daughters and a wife feeling much like these in the video. Today we celebrate our eldest, Jamie's, birthday. I am blessed with receiving the same hug this afternoon as that so many years ago.
