Rochester

ּ_בּ

With all the osprey and birding adventures of the past few days, almost forgot to post my weekly hiking column. This trail is just one mile long, but connects the Paint Creek Trail with the Clinton River Trail making it a darn important one mile. http://www.theoaklandpress.com/articles/2012/06/22/life/doc4fe4b7f800ceb607450847.txt?viewmode=fullstory

Congrats to my granddaughter Kelsey and her Rochester team mates for taking 1st place in their softball tournament this weekend. 5 wins, 0 losses!!! So proud of her. And today was wickedly hot but they played with all their heart and no complaining. Good job girls!!You all were awesome!( and granma is burnt like toast ).

Just watched Hoarders and for the first time I didn't feel better about my house being cluttered I felt compelled to finish my closet! I wonder if that's because the lady was in Rochester, NY. Or maybe it was contagious, seeing the clean... my house will be clean again one day soon. Maybe tomorrow! Praying for nesting that makes all the pain go away!

To my girls: I am blessed twice to have daughters like you! Happy 19th Birthday!!! I couldn't believe it when the doctor told me that day that I would be having two babies but now I can't imagine life without you both! I will be missing 1/2 of you but thinking about you Sierra as you celebrate in Rochester Hills. Enjoy this special day and know that I love you lots!! Your Mom.

I walked for my dad and my niece's dad last night in Rochester for The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. It was very moving to see so many who lost loved ones and now work to find a cure. Please donate in memory of someone you love and miss.
