Recent rains have wreaked havoc on several of our farmer friends. Picked up my batch of chicken and sausage gumbo for the week this morning at the Vancouver Farmers' Market. It is the best I have ever had and I spent huge amounts of time in New Orleans over the past 8 years - Joycelyn's is simply amazing and loves what she does!
