Happy Summertime Burgh Friends! Today is the Summer Equinox; the longest day of the year....So that means we'll have plenty of time to run some late night specials! We celebrate the summer equinox and shortest night of the year after an incredible 26 hours without Rain ........I am please to be able to report its back! solid grey skies ahead.....Hose pipe bans are lifted......you can now wash your pets and Grand parents in the Garden without fear of Prosecution...except of course who would do that in the Rain.??

No joke!!! At a spring or summer equinox, (tonight around 7), there is a 2 or 3 minute window where you can balance a raw egg on a level table for as long as its in the window of time...This I thought was very cool,, try it if you want,, no joke Ive seen it done!!!!!!!! The exact time of the summer equinox Im sure can be easily looked up..

Happy Summer every body. At 6:09 PM Central Daylight Time it officially became Summer. That was The summer equinox that slipped past about an hour and a half ago. Break out the swim suits.

So today is West Virginia's 149th birthday. It's also Summer Equinox, eg, the longest day of the year. So our state's birthday lasts longer than any other state. Just sayin'.
