Did you hear the news of our good fortune? DONOVAN LEITCH is coming THIS SATURDAY night to perform a free concert at our local jazz fest! Wow! This will be my 2nd time to hear this lovely fellow sing -- and actually, it was the only large-scale "amplified" concert I attended for the first 55 years of my life. That historic event took place (ironically) at the Syracuse War Memorial back in the 60's, and I was thrilled to say that I gave him a flower, in person! Only other such such concert for me would have also been at the Syracuse Jazz Fest just a couple of years ago, when Aretha Franklin blew me away with her powerful presence. But my dear sweet Donovan? Oh my, I can't wait!!!

Hypothetically, people worry about everyone being selfishly oriented. "If everyone did exactly what they want to do, what kind of world would this be?" And we say, a really, really good one. Because if everyone did what they wanted to do, everyone would feel free. And if you feel free, you feel empowered. And every negative emotion that exists—hear this—every negative emotion that exists is because there is some sense of loss of freedom somewhere in there.

I have tried three times to get tickets for the "Cake Boss" in Syracuse in December and each time I get to the paying page this darn laptop jumps to other pages and I lose the info....so, I guess its telling me not to waste the money.
