Ronaldo has worked hard to become who he is right now. He has proved himself in three different leagues. He started his career at Sporting Lisbon and worked hard to get a chance to play for Manchester United. In his United days, he lived up to the expectations of his coach, Sir Alex Ferguson, and the fans as well. His ability to score goals from long range, free kicks & penalties made him a force to reckon with in the world of football. He won his first UEFA champions league Trophy in 2008 and went on to win the World Player of the Year title in the same year.
After achieving everything in the EPL with United he headed for Real Madrid. His move to Madrid made him the most expensive player in the history of football. He then started breaking records in La Liga. In his first season he was excellent as he scored more than 25 goals which is a great achievement. In his second season he broke the all time record of most goals scored in La Liga in a season by scoring 40 goals, for which he won the Golden Boot. Last season, he scored 45 goals in La Liga and had a total tally of more than 60 goals which took his side to victory in the league. People forget he plays as a winger, which makes his achievements even more impressive.
A Strong Background
On the other hand, we have Messi who has built his career in Barcelona. He is without a doubt one of the best players the world has ever seen. He started his career with Barcelona and is still with them. His achievements are incredible, and he has won the World Player of the Year Award three times. Last season, he scored more than 70 goals but he was not able to win either the La Liga or the UEFA Champions League.
Messi has shown he is a great player, but whatever he has achieved is because he is at Barcelona. Barcelona right now have eight players who have come from their own academy and Messi is one of them. This is where Messi has a huge advantage over Ronaldo. Messi has played with same players and style throughout his career, which is a big reason for his success.
Ronaldo has shown he can fit in any team he wants whereas Messi has only played with Barcelona so far, which means we cannot judge his versatility. This is why I think Ronaldo is better than Messi. Ronaldo has better speed, skill, free kick ability, penalty taking ability, heading ability and can score with both his feet. Messi has excellent ball control but without his teammates (Iniesta and Xavi) he does not look like the same Messi we see every week. I believe Messi has to leave Barcelona in order to prove he is better than Ronaldo and the best player the world has ever seen.
He can never reach Ronaldo’s level until he leaves Barcelona. The day he leaves Barcelona and proves himself in some other league or team I will be the first one to say he is the best ever footballer the world has ever seen.
Until then, Ronaldo is better than Messi

Great fun day enjoyed by the kiddies at the annual Mike O Connor fun day held at Randburg Fc. Well done Barcelona on emphatic win last night. Sharks not so lucky, South Africa winning Hong Kong sixes, now just need the Highved Strikers to win champions league T20, and Liverpool to beat Everton!!

Lol there we go again: We have been told that Di Matteo is planning to use the "Park The Bus" formation which is 9-1-0 in their game against Man United, this formation allows Chelsea players to stand infront of Cech the goalkeeper to make sure that the opponents cant get a goal. We saw it in the champions league Fina where Chelsea defended the whole game and he is going on with it #GGMU
