Spent a few hours drowning a few worms today today with my bride at Bakers Lake. While I realize this isn't LaSalle Counties best fishing spot it was close and cheap! While I might be able to tell some good fish stories the truth is 4 bluegills (2 apiece ) and a case of sunburn on my neck and arms! I was impressed by Denise putting her own worms on the hook and not afraid to touch the fish we caught! No one got hooked with the exception of a few weeds and we left with all body parts intact! Sat. it's off to Wrigley Field for the tour and a stop at Navy Pier for a Ferris Wheel ride!

Home from chicago trip. Traveled by car, train, boat(water taxi) and foot today. Went ot the Shedd, saw the jellies, the 4D movie, the aquatic show, the coral reef and then Navy Pier Ferris Wheel, then a short visit to the mag mile and had dinner at a nice resturant and then headed home via train.

Busy day tomorrow. Work from 3am-11. Go home change clothes then going to Navy Pier with Brian to see Cirque Shanghai-Year of the Dragon. then going back home to walk the dogs then head out to my dads for a cookout and have to be at work at 3am again. Looks like it may be another all nighter for me, better get my rest today. Lol

Had three stories in the Chicago Sun-Times today: Danica Patrick at Oak Street Beach, preview of a fencing tournament at Navy Pier (last World Cup event before the Olympics) and a full page on how Title IX paved the way for the WNBA and the Chicago Sky and how the league is doing.
