Yesterday my dear friend, Nancy Duncan invited me over to her house for lunch and to meet her new grand-baby, Ford. What was rather extraordinary about the day was that Nancy actually served a lovely lunch out on her patio. So often we are inclined to go to restaurants with our girlfriends, but I can't tell you how delightful it was to sit with Nancy, Katie and sweet little Ford and enjoy their company without background noise and the interruption of servers. Kudos to Nancy for being a gracious hostess and "pushing the pause button" on life!
