I had a great phone call but it came right in the middle of a storm that made my lights flicker, so I had to hang up......I wanted to talk to Sarah so bad! Anyway, I am sitting here watching Barefoot, the first of the storms has gone by, I am writing out cards to go with some little gifts and thank you notes, and I just love the smell of sealing wax!!! I need to find some more interesting sealing wax, all I have is gold and a heart impression maker, I want to find some more. Anybody know where to find some? I bought this kind from amazon.com.

More than 150 thank you notes sent tonight and only about 70 more to go to catch up! THANKS to the 2000 of you who have signed my guestbook in the past month and a half! I am so grateful to be able to correspond with you and I really appreciate your support of my NOLA handmade product and my small business! Travel and Leisure named NOLA #1 shopping city in U.S. recently. NOGA named FQC as one of top 5 handmade products in the city recently. But I have the number ONE customers/friends in the WORLD!

Is it so unusual to require thank-you notes of students who are rewarded scholarships by businesses in the community? The annual scholarship banquet, sponsored by the Winnsboro-Franklin Chamber of Commerce, is one of the best events in our area. So many businesses contribute to make it possible - the students must write them a thank you before they can pick up their checks...also show proof of registration to the school of their choice. Sad that so many don't even know what a thank you note is...much less why they should write one.
