This will surely prompt debate: Husband and I were discussing Karen Klein and the $$$ flying in to her. We honestly do not understand it. Of course the little b@st@rds dishing out the verbal abuse should be punished. Of course it was a terrible thing. But others endure far worse verbal, emotional, and physical abuse daily. She was hired as a bus monitor to keep order and failed to do so. Why didn't she get up, go to the driver, ask him to pull over and handle the situation? We just do not "get" the huge outpouring for this individual when others suffer much greater indignities.
