I've tried a couple of paintings the last couple of days but have been very disatisfied with how they came out. I'm learning that for every "success" (at least in my eyes), comes at least a couple of failures (at least in my eyes), but with each failure I learn what NOT to do. Makes me wonder what would happen if one could scrape through the paint, layer by layer, of the masters, if failures would be discovered. :)
